Service Contracts

Research shows that most drivers neglect their vehicles, even though a new car, truck, SUV, van or crossover is the single most expensive purchase for many consumers.

All new cars we sell come with vehicle warranties but these warranties expire long before the cars stop running. Our pre-owned vehicles include a two month, 2000 mile limited warranty*, or the balance of the manufacturer's warranty. As older vehicle parts fail, surprise costs emerge, which can keep strand both the car – and driver.

Vehicle service contracts fill in when auto warranties expire. And, they fill potential gaps in automobile coverage not met through insurance. In general, auto insurance covers accidental damages from such things as collisions, fire, hail and vandalism. Vehicle service contracts are agreements to pay for specific repairs due to mechanical breakdowns not covered under auto insurance policies.

With plans that match the individual needs of customers and their cars, vehicle service contracts help keep surprise car bills at bay. Extended vehicle service coverage can save you hundreds, and even thousands of dollars.

If you have only one big repair bill covered by your extended warranty, an automatic transmission failure for example, then your policy just paid for itself. Repairs to transmissions are frequently close to the cost of a remanufactured unit, which can easily be $2,000 or more to replace.

How about an air-conditioning failure? Based on typical repair costs, figure on spending $700 or more to keep your cool. Even if you have a $100 deductible you're still way ahead of the game compared to footing the entire bill yourself.

Our trained finance specialists will explain the extended warranty options before you sign your finance paperwork.
